Waste Characterization and Recovery Rate Analysis
DSM Environmental Services, Inc. has been involved in the design and implementation of waste characterization and recovery rate studies over the last two decades. This has included study design and data collection methodologies that ensure the client’s goals for data application are met. With DSM’s proven project management and analytical expertise, waste characterization and recovery rate studies provide the answers needed to evaluate programs and policies, and to determine where to redirect efforts to increase materials recovery.
This work has been ranged from statewide waste characterization studies to facility specific audits directed at organics or other materials.
DSM has also been a leader in the design and use of recovery rate studies to determine the potential for additional materials recovery and the status of existing programs. This work conducted over the past two decades has included targeting the quality of material recovered and the types of contamination, including methods to reduce contamination.
